Welcome to CMM

The CMM forum software was recently upgraded, some things may have changed and some things may be broken or not working. Please let me know by PM or on IRC if you have any problems using this forum.

Also, I've removed the skybox and shader links for now, the shader generator page was being abused and as we're moving towards a ue4 mapping base, they're redundant.

Re: carentan

Hi. I resolved some bugs and added a new model, here you have a download link (http://www.mediafire.com/download/6fv2lf2qhsc9uql/ut4_carentan_kryta_v1c.pk3) for the new map version. I can't upload map in your server because the upload option is disabled? (http://www.custommapmakers.org/servers.php) ...

Re: ase or md3 models

MD3 can be animated (for example the player models are in this format), but it has a 1000 vertex limit per model. ASE does not have that limitation, but can’t be animated. ASE is a text-based format meaning that you can open a third-party model in a text editor and change the texture paths and what...

I know that there is another type (ase) but I don't know the difference between two types of models. Anyone know the difference? And what is better for urban terror? Thank you a...

Re: Scale units in GtkRadiant

1 Quake unit equals 1 inch (2.54 cm) in UrT (it can be 1.5 inches in some other games). 12 units is 1 foot / 30 cm, about 40 units gives you 1 meter. The players are 6 feet / 1.8 meters tall. A 128 unit ceiling is high enough that you won’t bump into it when jumping and 160 units is enough for a wa...

Scale units in GtkRadiant

Hi all.

For a good map scale build I need to know the units scale in GtkRadiant but I don't find anything in Google.

Anyone know the units scale in Gtkradiant?

8 units = 1 foot?
8 units = 1 inch?

Thank you.
