Because without it, i have edges on lightmaps i can't get rid of.
With patchmeta the model is smooth like it looks in max.

When you jump on the barrels and look down you see that your own shadow is messing it up completely. It's driving me fucking nuts. Now the above problem is partially fixed by us...

These seams are very subtle i think... Try writing up phong shader for these barrels, and add some magic lightmap keys like q3map_lightmapMergable, q3map_lightmapSampleOffset or q3map_splotchFix (don't use 'em all at once) Seams are subtle yes, and can't really be seen from a distance but sooner or...

I don't know man i hope broken switches get fixed soon. Lightmapscale on models is 0.125. Shadows are very dark now, but to be honest i like it. I always liked strong shadows and high contrast. Makes the game look like Doom 3 a little. Thanks Flajeen. Maybe I'm just being picky and wasting time tryi...

Well here it is, my oil barrel model. Archive contains the .ase file and all the diffuse/bump/normal maps. *Important note* I replaced the name of the folder where i kept the textures to "your_texture_folder_name". So if you want to use it make sure you open the .ase file in any text edito...

IDK why you uploaded it to mega upload - I added a file uploader to your backend panel so you can store stuff here. I'm assuming you'll be making a lot of models so i created a new section in the wiki, Rylius will probably move this or something later. CMM Models pooper scooper, i forgot about that...
