I am now in charge of the FTW mapping competition because x8 got busy with school or something First I want to apologize for the somewhat lackluster way the contest has been going (from FTW's end in terms of better support for beta testing etc - although it's not my fault...) If you're doing a lego map, I think it would be really cool if you were faithful to what lego pieces actually look like. Would make it all that much more "neat". And I think a good scale would be to imagine the urt player being the size of a lego man.

Nothing would be "stolen", because the participants would know that this was an open source exercise and that they were intentionally sharing their work. I think you should encourage it by saying that you will package them all up in a release zip, perhaps hosted at CMM or something. It sho...

Why not just make it solid? In real life grenades wouldn't fit through that grate, and bullets would mostly hit it. So why have anything go through? Or if you put brushes going across, like thicker supporting parts of the grate: | | | | | then dead players would snag on those instead of falling thro...
