By default, Radiant shows a count of the total number of brushes and entities in a map. For example, a map I am working on now shows Brushes: 8861 Entities: 607 1. Blood Gulch is too large. I think Lockout, Midship, and Zanzibar would be good choices. I would also go for Warlock, Chiron TL-34 or Battle Canyon.

Updated to Release Candidate 1. This is now a pack of 16 maps rather than a single map. All have the same spawnrooms and the same outer boundaries, but the layouts inside are all different.

I don't worry about .pk3 size too much. A large map will frequently be 60 MB+ with bump and normal maps.

Updated to Alpha 31. There may not be much beta development, as all I need to do is add more sounds and figure out bot support for this large and complex map.
