Hi,

May I present you an other speed mapped map. This is a mirrored map with jump pads, including a big wall which stands in the middle of the map. The map runs on all gametypes except LMS and JUMP

You can find pictures here: http://imgur.com/a/sm5j7/embed

The map had some problems with converting to BSP and mirroring/copying. But of course that is fixed now (@JohnnyEnglish : Thanks again!). Beside the problems I had there still is a bug, it's about the 80% chance of fall damage on brushes of the big stair. The shader on those brushes is the same as on the other fully non-fall damageable brushes spread over the whole map.

Anyway, the map is good to go. Check it out and have fun!!

As said earlier on your server, I suppose there is only falling damage when crashing onto the horizontal parts of the stairs.

Besides that, great map! Same like the other two we played after that, on first glance simple, but very elaborate concerning playability. Simple+great maps seems to be your trademark.

Here you go, I wonder how you detect the problem with this piece of information.

Some extra info, the shaders for these textures you see on theses brushes.

Code: Select all

textures/x_doomish/floor-1:q3map
{
   surfaceparm nodamage
}
textures/x_doomish/concrete-4:q3map
{
   surfaceparm nodamage
}

What Marvin said, you can lemming on the upper edge of a brush, solution is the following (lower step = lemming, mid/upper = good)

It works the same way with slick and other surfaceparms
