A fix for ladders in jump maps

This is a concept I used in Overdose quite a few times, before I give it out to more people to beta test I thought I would release the idea to ensure its not plagiarized.

This is a fix for ladders in jump maps, instead of worrying about climbing up the ladder heaps or accidentally breaking your legs on the fall down. Also as a bonus its also SO much quicker than climbing up a ladder

The brush work is simple, all it requires is the mapper to make a set of stairs with a width (x/y axis) of 1 unit(minimum) and the stairs height(z axis) of 16 units(maximum)
I've created a test map for mappers to check out how it works and how its made, the pk3 contains a .bsp and .map source

Check it out http://www.gotdelirium.com/maps/del_ladder_fix.pk3 (17 kb)

I would much prefer that to a ladder, Iv always wondered why people put ladders in jump maps cos I find them quite irritating.

ladders can be usefull, i think short jumps wo teleporters like the first jump of uber are good for traffic filtering, good jumpers pass easy, not so good might miss and have to get back up. but i have to agree appart from filter jumps i don t like ladders in jump maps.
