Scale units in GtkRadiant

Post by kryta »

Hi all.

For a good map scale build I need to know the units scale in GtkRadiant but I don't find anything in Google.

Anyone know the units scale in Gtkradiant?

8 units = 1 foot?
8 units = 1 inch?

Thank you.

Regards

1 Quake unit equals 1 inch (2.54 cm) in UrT (it can be 1.5 inches in some other games). 12 units is 1 foot / 30 cm, about 40 units gives you 1 meter. The players are 6 feet / 1.8 meters tall. A 128 unit ceiling is high enough that you won’t bump into it when jumping and 160 units is enough for a wallkick to gain speed.
