hey, what about a monthly competition?
Every month get a Theme and the best mapper get a grafic of his winnermap, a picture of himself maybe and his name, so what:

Then, my next idea is a "Hall of Fame", a forumpart where you see the grafic from mapper of the month, a downloadlink to the winner map and in which month he wins

Do you mean like a model, or texture? Just something small that people dont have to spend a lot of time on?

i mean a simple picture/texture, maybe wooden frames with goldlines in it and a easy background

Instead of a monthly competition (a comp every month is the fastest way to completely kill the entire meaning of competitions. like having the Olympics ever year) we can add a "WiP screenshots" section and the mapper that has shown most progress gets a "mapper of the month" award.
