CMM Mappingdepot

Post by nemNEMnem »

Hi guys, i know, there are alot of those outside, but i think we should need an mappingdepot, where everyone can upload his newest releases with good description.
i thought about an extra, closed thread in a new forum, called "Download Maps" or sth, where every needed info is there, in the same style, sth like this:

Mapname: ABCcity
Description:ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
Gamemodes: TDM, CTF, TS, Bomb, CAH
Player/Size:Big/32 Players; Medium/16 Players; Small/8 Players
Download DOWNLOAD

Spoiler: show

We discussed this on irc (where were you?) and we thought it was a good idea - watch this space for more information.

I thought about this, it's no problem to create a map repository but I think people like Urban Zone do this much better than we could, there might be some mileage establishing a relationship with (for example) UZ so that betas and finals can be entered into their system.
