link it to programs like Terrain Generator aswell

I don't think we need a pk3 maker, 7zip is really great, very good and very fast compression.

But it's not automated and it doesn't check for unused/missing textures :)

I'm using the NetBeans Platform (=Java), you can run it virtually anywhere

q3map2toolz mappacker has this.

but it includes all zpak_assets stuff.
which is probably good if they decide to make a completely new one for hd.

Still, a customized tool and with all you can use would be good!
Would save me some space on my desktop too :P
