Welcome to CMM

The CMM forum software was recently upgraded, some things may have changed and some things may be broken or not working. Please let me know by PM or on IRC if you have any problems using this forum.

Also, I've removed the skybox and shader links for now, the shader generator page was being abused and as we're moving towards a ue4 mapping base, they're redundant.

(well once i fix my laptop and recover the data from my hard drive). However an unused shader AND texture remover would be extremely handy! And a pk3 maker would be nice!

Only thing i would ask for is that your bsp compiler should please allow for the map file to be in another folder besides the maps folder, because i am a tidy mapper and like to keep everything in nice organized folders. (that is my only complaint about q3map2build, it forces you to put the map file in the maps folder)

I don't think we need a pk3 maker, 7zip is really great, very good and very fast compression.

But it's not automated and it doesn't check for unused/missing textures :)

I'm using the NetBeans Platform (=Java), you can run it virtually anywhere

The only requirement is that we have Java installed, right?

q3map2toolz mappacker has this.

but it includes all zpak_assets stuff.
which is probably good if they decide to make a completely new one for hd.

Still, a customized tool and with all you can use would be good!
Would save me some space on my desktop too :P
