Welcome to CMM

The CMM forum software was recently upgraded, some things may have changed and some things may be broken or not working. Please let me know by PM or on IRC if you have any problems using this forum.

Also, I've removed the skybox and shader links for now, the shader generator page was being abused and as we're moving towards a ue4 mapping base, they're redundant.

Forum Theme

Postby Moonie » Thu Feb 02, 2012 1:47 pm

Is their any other themes, cos this one is ugly (no offense if one of you guys created it), and way to light and bright (migraine inducing bright)?

If their is, how do you change it? It doesnt seem to be available in board prefs, or do i need x posts for it to activate?

What i mean is do you have a dark theme, like UJ.

Is there any chance the admin could add say this theme/style, for people who dislike white themes?

Sorry (in advance) for being cheeky. ;)

Reaches for real-life hand grenade - pulls pin - lobs grenate into Moonies sandwich box...

This place is a collection of artistic, tastefull, individuals - each with his own view about what looks "shit hot" - unfortunately nobody ever agrees so we ended up with this.

If anyone feels they'd like to take the theme and design something better ... bla

I think that prosilver SE could do the job nicely. It's the simplest, the best phpBB theme.

I like the new theme guys! Not sure who decided it but I have always enjoyed a nice dark theme... its easy on the eyes and not hard to read. The only thing i notice is that the background is not repeating... it stops about 4 inches down from the top and doesnt repeat. Not sure if its just me using chrome or not... it would be pretty easy to create a small one pixel horizontal strip that you then repeat downwards as necessary.... OR simply make it smaller so that it only covers just to the bottom of the CMM logo and then leave the rest of the background black.

anyway, love the theme even though it was a might bit confusing to start out with.

I downloaded a few additional themes since we upgraded phpbb - unfortunately the portal doesn't work well with them as it's intended for an older version and is no longer supported.

I think the dark theme is supposed to look like that with the blue ending abruptly then starting again at the footer.

FYI - it should be possible for you to change to a lighter theme on your profile if you prefer.
