CMM Jump map?

Hey Guys!

As I enjoyed helping Johnny (by helping I mean testing, didn't do any more than that) on pirate_land, and now the project has ended. I think we should all make a jump map together.
Depending on the people interested It'd be 1 or 2 jumps per person, and maybe in the end we could organize it by difficulty, so it starts rather easy and gets harder throughout the map.

What do you think?

I thought about that too.

I like the style of a preview map Rayne created to show us bump mapping and so on. looked amazing.

I'd be happy to be involved as well, though mapping with a group is waaay harder than mapping by yourself as the project can loose focus really easily unless everyone really wants to finish and has a similar vision.

But it might be good to involve some new mappers so they can get a taste of the process.

Well, it'd be like creating something yourself because you'd be creating your jumps by yourself.
Then we only put them together and ordered. And we add transitions of course...

Maybe something to do with seasons?
so, let's say, 3 jumps on a winter ambient, then 3 on spring, 3 on summer and 3 on autumn...

We'd have some work to make it a good map, lots of vertex deformation to make rock walls I think...
But it'd be nice, you'd have snow, flowers, sand and fallen leaves...
